Meet The Family!
Windy Bank Farm and all its animals take some looking after! Its always nice to meet the family!
First of all there is me Michelle!
The farm has been my dream since I was a little girl and sometimes still I have to pinch myself that we are actually here!
I run the day to day farm and own an run our on site Pet Grooming Salon, I am a City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Qualified Groomer and I take great pride in my work!
I love my horses and I am passionate about my pigs, and from the very first moment I saw a picture of a Kune Kune I could feel an obsession starting and start it did! I love breeding these wonderful animals for pets as well as breeding stock and am very excited to be developing our new venture, free range home reared rare breed Pork from pigs that will have spent their whole lifes living here with us on the farm, watch this space....
I Love farm life, its very busy but I would not have things any other way!
Then there is my husband and partner in crime Richard!
Richard is builder of absolutely EVERYTHING! and is also designer and regular poser in the family ' we built it album' !
He is fantastic at what he does though and has transformed this farm. He is also responsible for making all our animals live in total comfort and luxury , but he is looking forward to the day that we too can live in luxury in the house!
Richard and I have been together 20 years and even though we are very different we are each others rock and absolutely committed to making our farm a haven for all the animals who live here and also our visiting furry friends.
We then have Gareth.
Gareth is Richards dad, my father in law and Grandad Gareth to the kids! Gareth has been a tremendous help to all of us since we bought our dream home and has worked alongside us with all the hard labour jobs on the farm ( and there have been many) sometimes after a full days work and all weekend!
His relentless support to us with the many many labour hours he gives, we are so grateful for.
We really appreciate his help and sometimes dont know what we would do without him! Here is to many more years of building untill we are somewhere near!
Family Friend John is Next!
John has been a good friend to the family for years! Always on hand to help us when needed!
He is invaluable to us, whatever job we have been tackling, and we look forward to
working with him for
many years to come!
Last but not least are my two beautiful daughters!
My two girls have taken to farm life like ducks to water!, they love helping to look after the animal team! They are my best friends and we spend hours riding together on our horses!
