Miniature Schnauzer
Our whole family are just crazy about Miniature Schnauzers!!
So much so that we have Three of them Scrappy, Lexi and Ozzy!
All our dogs live a very busy varied life on the farm, they get to go on long walks up the field and take their roles as general yard guards and animal herders VERY SERIOUSLY!!
From our bitch Lexi and Male Ozzy we hope to have in puppies in 2011, so please do contact us should you be interested in a Lexi Puppy or see our puppies for sale page for news of litters.
Lexi is well known in the area for being a super little dog with the most amazing temperament EVER, we hope that her beautiful personality will be passed down to her puppies. She is a very small bitch, in fact a proper Miniature!
Lexis Puppies will be un papered and will cost £ 560 each to good homes only, all puppies will come with a five generation pedigree certificate.Lexi has a current full clear eye certificate. Both parents can be seen here at the farm!
Miniature Schnauzers make great pets. The name Schnauzer means 'small beard' , the breed was origionally bred for hunting vermin.
They weigh between 14-16 pounds and should be 12 to 14 inches to the shoulder. The lifespan is usually between 12 to 16 years.
Miniature Schnauzers dont shed hair so they make great pets for the Allergy sufferer or Asthmatic, they are known as a Hypoallegenic breed. They will need clipping every 6 to 8 weeks to avoid coat matting so please bear this in mind should you decide to purchase a puppy.
In terms of Temperament they are lively, pleasent and playful, whilst also being loyal and devoted (we can vouch first hand for this!) Our Mini's love to be involved in all our family activities and love long walks. They are fantastic with children and also great with other animals. ( Ours mix with Cats, horses, pigs and chickens).
We absolutely cannot imagine our life without our mini crowd and know first hand they make super pets. They love to be involved with everything we do and always always have time for a cuddle!
Please don't forget we do have our own resident grooming parlour at the farm so we can advise on the care of your new puppy and we welcome you to return to the farm to have your pet pampered and groomed!
