Auntie Tracey Visits Tora on her first day!
Wednesday 24th February 2010 9:12 PM
Well last night at 8.30pm in thick snow we finally got home with Tora! After a quick meet of the other ponies she was soon tucked up for the night in her huge stable, with a manger full of carrots and two huge hay nets
The snow was not as bad as expected this morning but the school run was still a nightmare, it was melting well this afternoon though and will hopefully be gone by the weekend so I can ride my new horse!
This morning as soon as I walked into the barn she took my breath away!
She has settled really well, Auntie Tracey arrived later in the day to see Tora and brought me a saddle to try, sadly it doesnt fit very well and I am still on the look out for a saddle before I can ride!!
We still had a lovely time sitting on her though and as you can see and I think Tracey liked her too.
WOW my forever horse is FINALLY here!
She has played out with the others all day today and I am happy they are settling well as a little herd of four!
Tora doesnt even seem bothered by Mif pig, who has spent a good proportion of today alseep in the dog basket!
Bringing in tonight was exciting as she didnt know what was going on but she will settle I think quickly, I cant wait to ride!
I willl keep you updated on our progress untill the next time...
